Get Carving Quickly - Included with all Buddys

ShopBot have teamed up with Vector Art 3D, Inc. to create the Get Carving Quickly package – supplied at no cost will all new Buddy machines. The package come with a selection of 6 Vector Art 3D (www.vectorart3d.com) models in all 3 of their styles (raised, dished and hand carve recess). These models are supplied in a V3M format which will load directly into PartWorks3D (included with every Buddy). The 6 files are:

Carvers Tools	Flourish 2	Horse Head	Kids Blocks	Rope Border	Rosette

All these models can be loaded into PartWorks3D, scaled, oriented and then roughing, finishing and cut-out toolpaths calculated to carve them individually on your Buddy.

In addition to the 3D files there are 5 “ready to use” PartWorks project files which show how you can combine the 2D and 3D data combined to make projects you can customize to make samples and sellable parts with your Buddy. These all come with ready to run toolpaths that utilize the standard Shopbot cutting tool set.

The 5 projects included in the Get Carving Quickly package are shown below. These also come with tutorial videos showing you how you can edit the text and 3D components to create your own customized versions of them.
